No one knows if it was sabotage, accident, or madness. Only what followed: billions dead, governments collapsing, the world broken - and the birth of the Zone. Twisted. Something came through when the fabric of reality tore. They are called Hollows - not much is known, except that they don’t belong here.

- Anomalies: Unstable rifts that tear open without warning, twisting the laws of nature. Some burn your skin just by being near, others warp gravity or corrode machines where they stand.
